Pool Meeting August 2019

We had a representative from 7 teams, as follows:

Shayne was not in attendance.

The following was discussed and agreed upon accordingly:
1) League play will be 28 weeks. 4 player teams, 16 game format
2) League will begin September 17th, with December 17 and December 31 off for Christmas break. Playoffs are scheduled for April 3 and 4. No banquet was discussed, but discussion was that last years presentation directly after playoffs was agreed upon.
3) Not specifically discussed, but in general we as a league decided that everything from last year would carry forward for playoff structure:
- Round Robin, A Side and B Side
- handicaps WILL be used in playoffs
- payouts will also be paid out in same percentages for league finish and playoff finish
- in order to play in playoffs must have played 12 games in season
(these are just a few reminders, as mentioned we will continue this year as last)
4) We are a CCS sanctioned league which required $20.00 membership from each player
5) Weekly fees are $15.00 per player ($60.00 per team per week)
6) No more than 2 players with 8.5 average playing on one night including playoffs
7) If there is any concern with players, sportsmanship, bring to Carolann, Jim and/or Angela IMMEDIATELY. They will bring to captains and will resolve with appropriate parties as soon as possible.
8) Bruce is the "Rules Lawyer" - if any question on rules of the game, he is your go - to!
9) Angela to discuss with BD Bar about potential specials and pool balls.
10) Discussion was had to have an award and a tournament/special night in memory of Paul Fenk. Carolann will look into further and discuss with league when possible.
11) We will play on the tables and decide if we need to approach the Bar if maintenace of the tables are needed.
12) Carolann and Sean will continue as Treasures, Jim and Dick will handle the stats and Angela will continue to talk lol
